Kacey Scott
Senior Project Manager / Founder

Through a diverse range of project management experience across developer side, architectural side and eventually contractor side organisations, Kacey gained a deep understanding of property development.

She observed the reoccurring disconnect between stakeholders, frequent scope misalignment, competing priorities, blind spots, barriers in knowledge, polarity in skill sets and persistent gaps in communication across project teams – often leading to completely preventable issues, costs, delays and conflicts. She lived it first-hand from each of the various perspectives uncovering insight into the unique pressure points of each stakeholder.

With a deepened understanding into how it all intersects and uniquely unfolds to impact on project outcomes, relationships and performance – she identified an opportunity to lead project teams with greater awareness and stronger impact. An opportunity to actively bridge the repeated gaps and adjust inefficiencies to effectively align project teams and protect feasibility, programme and delivery with greater confidence and certainty.

With a strong sense of knowing she had valuable insight and strategy to offer without the right environment to apply it – she took the leap to create that environment for herself and established Scott & Co Projects.

Now offering an integrated and dynamic approach to Property Development Project Management – she is excited to be doing things her way. With a big emphasis on mindset, values and an adaptable and motivational leadership style she is excited to be delivering under her own framework and approach she truly believes in.

Her approach can be described as firm and direct but always fair and reasonable. She’s thorough, thinks things through and makes informed and intentional decisions to set a clear and tailored framework – providing the foundation to deliver with precision. She values clarity in communication and believes it’s a crucial part of aligning a project team for success. She adapts to the individual needs of each project and each team member to generate positive and cohesive collaboration and efficient outcomes across the board. Balancing personal empathy and accumulated knowledge in human behaviour, leadership and high performing teams, she brings a well rounded and robust approach to project management.
